Guilford Child Health, Inc., was established in 1997 to serve as a provider of primary and specialty healthcare services for children. Within five years, GCH had cared for more than 25,000 children.
The number of children that we see increases each year.
By 2005, Guilford Child Health was the medical home to 30,000
children. During fiscal year 2009, Guilford Child Health, Inc. experienced 56,184 patient visits. This was an increase of 12% or 5,877 visits over fiscal year 2008 visit total of 50,307. The organization is budgeted to generate 66,321 visits for fiscal year 2010.

By providing healthcare services for a child's medical, social and emotional needs, GCH works to ensure that each child is developmentally prepared at home, at school, and in the community.
Guilford Child Health, Inc., is affiliated with High Point Regional Health System, Moses Cone Health System and the Guilford County Health Department. GCH works closely with other child health agencies.
